IMPORTANT GUILD INFORMATION FOR NEW MEMBERS

HIVE SLAVE

When you get invited into our guild, you will notice your rank is HIVE SLAVE (Guild Prospect). This rank means you are not officially a member of our guild yet. You do not have Ally chat, and you can not wear the guild crest. In order to get those privileges and more, you will need to demonstrate that you will bring honor to our guild. The following sections will inform you of your expectations.

PROMOTIONS

As a new member the very first thing you should do is log on to our Forum and start a thread with your character's name and rank. Example: Joe Blow - Hive Slave. Then start to get to know people in the guild. As people get to know you, they will vote on your promotion by putting positive threads on your post in our forum . So it is important to maintain guild honor because negative threads can also count against you. These are the requirements for the following ranks:

Promotion from:

Slave to Drone......... Attend a Guild Meeting

Drone to Soldier....... Post on Forum (List the name of the character to be promoted clearly in the subject line) and attend a Guild Meeting

Soldier to Vanguard.... Request a task to prove your worth from an Officer.

The Soldier's Quest will show your willingness and ability to serve the

Swarm as a Vanguard.  In order to promote to Vanguard you must:

1) Contact an officer to request the ability to take the quest . The officer will either accept your request or pass you on to another officer to oversee you.  once you make contact with an officer to act as your Sage, you may proceed.

2) Obtain 30000 Realm Points.

3) Lead one guild group activity.  (Leveling or RVR)

(Provide names of participants and group activity)

Upon completion of these tasks, report back to your officer sage for confirmation.  They will then will carry your progress to the officer council.

Warlord is voted by the officers

Royal Guards are determined by Hive Commanders

Hive Commanders have worked hard to earn their ranks, and the

decision of their promotion is made directly by the Royalty

RESPECT

This section highlights some important swarm LAWS.  It is critical that all new members have an understanding of what is expected.

When someone logs on, in guild or joins the Swarm, they should be welcomed by ALL. In guild chat, Vanguards and higher are to be addressed by their appropriate prefix. This can be an abbreviation, or the full rank title: Vanguard = VG, Warlord = WL, Royal Guard = RG, Hive Commander = HC, Overlord = OL, and Emperor = Emp. If you are not sure of someone's rank, type /gc who. This gives you all members on line and their rank. It is important that as a guild we respect guild chat. Trash talking, spamming and abusive language will not be tolerated. Having fun and joking is encouraged, use good taste. It is dishonorable to the SWARM to beg for POWER LEVELING, or anything for that matter. Take responsibility for your character, and put in the time like we all have done. Of course if the warlord is on, you may ask that individual for help at ANY time. But ONLY the WARLORD! If someone disrupts you, the offender will be warned, and removed from the guild if this conduct continues. Giving is strongly encouraged, begging is unacceptable! A /salute is the minimum requirement for greeting a swarm member. /bow is used for a higher level of honor, which is due for ANY Swarm member ranking higher than yourself. It is YOUR responsibility to make yourself familiar with the Swarm HIVE. Anyone that is an officer, has put their time in as Warlord and deserves respect. Do not expect to advance if you disregard this law. Know the responsibilities of your rank (Rank Info).

GUILD MEETINGS

Sunday morning is our weekly guild meeting at 11:00am PST at the Swarm Mansion. (Lot # 1714)  At this time promotions are made, guild matters discussed and donations and item exchanges are given. This gives all new members an opportunity to get some nice gear.  If you are on line at this time, you are expected to be there. If you are unable to attend Sunday guild meetings, other arrangements for your promotion can be made on an individual basis. Every Monday Night is Fight Night at 7:00pm PST. Levels 20-35 go to BG, and 35+ go to RVR. We all meet in upland to form groups and strategies. Officers will lead the groups, and it is important that their instructions are followed closely. FIGHT NIGHT's purpose is not for the collection of realm points (which is a nice side benefit), but rather it is for the unity of the SWARM!

That's the basics, good luck and welcome to our famlily
